Cops busted two drug dealers after they did a marijua deal in the middle of a Bay Ridge street.
Police in Brooklyn recovered more than 50 pounds of marijuana after they saw two men conducting a drug deal in broad daylight, authorities said.
The cops were on patrol near 92nd Street and 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge when they saw two cars pull up next to each other around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, officials said.
The two drivers, Adham Deeb, 31, and Majdi Mansoor, 34, got out of their vehicles, where police witnessed them exchanging briefcases, authorities said.
Sgt. Andrew Mastrande, Officer Stephen Gibbons, Detective Frank Cinolauro and Sgt. Carlos Cruz then pulled over both men and detected a strong smell of marijuana coming from the cars, officials said.
After some brief questioning by the officers, Deeb admitted they were carrying pot, and the cops found around 20 pounds in each suitcase, along with a stash of cocaine in the center console, police said.
Deeb also admitted to cops that he and Mansoor had more pot stashed at a Chelsea apartment they used as a drug den, police said.
Once cops had a warrant in hand, they searched the West 28th Street pad and found another 11 pounds of weed along with scales and other paraphernalia.
Both men were charged with possession of marijuana. Deeb was hit with an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance for the cocaine.
